Our story

Focused on skilled craftsmanship, exceptional natural materials and enduring design inspired by age-old references for homeware with longevity, offering comfort and joy.

Elevate the Everyday

I launched the brand in 2019, frustrated with the lack of hand crafted tableware and homeware available that would stand the test of time. I also couldn't find linens that I wanted to buy, with the industry focusing almost exclusively on thread counts alone, and design-forward fine linens being offered only at the very top level.

I had experience working in luxury retail and linens, having worked in bed and bath buying plus time spent at Burberry, amongst others.

We are firm believers in using what you adore everyday. We don't need lots of pieces for our homes and we shouldn't need to replace often, so invest well. I am focused on us offering value for the quality, design and meaningful production of our collections, which are mostly handmade in Europe.

Our collections are mostly designed by us in England and crafted by heritage or artisan makers, mostly family-owned and in areas of provenance for the natural material or craftsmanship.

We are an independent business and are a friendly team based in North Yorkshire, England. Read on to discover more about the brand.

With love,

Rebecca

Skilled craftsmanship

From hand embroidered bed linens to intricately hand painted plates, nothing beats the feeling of a handmade product.

Working with heritage communities in areas of provenance

We believe in supporting heritage communities, often in areas of provenance for their speciality. In many cases, these communities are in rural areas and working with them helps to support these smaller economies and the history of the industry. For example, Murano glass, French Aptware, the Italian textile industry, Burmese rattan and Portuguese ceramics.

In doing so, too, we are working with people of equal passion in their work. Developing our products with them creates pieces with greater longevity, beauty and joy.

European sensibility

Inspired by the European convivial way of life as well as design. We often seek inspiration from across Europe from the breadth of antiques, historical references and architecture that is abundant.

Excellence in textiles

Textiles are at the core of Rebecca Udall; we're committed to textile excellence across Bed, Bath and Table.

We use textiles multiple times a day, everyday. Bringing comfort, beauty, texture, joy and ultimately that home feeling to our lives. No home is complete without textiles and especially when it comes to bedtime, textiles have a considerable impact to our sleep quality and therefore wellbeing.

What we do

We focus on fibre quality in conjunction with other quality indicators such as thread count, finishing and weaving know-how.

All of our textiles are Oeko-tex 100 certified, meaning they are tested and proven free of harmful levels of toxic substances at all stages of production.

We champion working with heritage mills - some, the very best globally - and family-owned manufacturers. We are also focused on the design, believing that linens can elevate the everyday with both quality and design.

We design tableware that transcends seasons and predominantly sits as well on a breakfast table as a dinner party. We encourage a table setting that is layered and feels true to your personal style. This makes for the most welcoming, enjoyable meal with friends and family.

All of our table linens are made from European grown flax for linens that have outstanding longevity and softness.

At the core of our bath collections is a combination of our commitment to excellence in textiles as well as being inspired by a welcoming, warm and layered bathroom. Our bathrooms are an important start and end to our day, and as such they should be relaxing and welcoming - supported by elevated design touches, texture, colour and decorative pieces.

Homeware that is crafted by hand using natural materials to add depth and soul to interiors.

Our Atelier linens are the pinnacle of fine linens. Partnering with a prestigious Italian mill and artisan craftsmen, we can help you to create your own exquisite linens, exactly as you wish them to be. Linens are 100% made in Europe from spinning, weaving, finishing to tailoring for truly exquisite linens.
