Aptware Collection

Aptware is a handmade faience ceramic made only in Apt, in the south of France, recognisable by its swirling marbled pattern. Each piece is made individually by a skilled female artisan, using techniques from the eighteenth century that have been passed down through generations. The colours and patterns are inspired by the local landscape: its mountains, richly coloured soil and flowing rivers.
