Homeware Gifts
Choosing Home Decor Gifts with Character
Home decor gifts can feel especially personal when they reflect something you know about the recipient. Perhaps it is the colours they return to, the way they like to host, or the small rituals they enjoy at home. A pair of Murano glasses, a ceramic serving bowl or platter, or a set of salt and pepper mills might suit someone who loves hosting. A smaller decorative tray, linen velvet cushion or photo frame may make a wonderful gift for someone who appreciates the personal touches that help a house feel like a home.
Craftsmanship is part of the pleasure of a well-chosen homeware gift. Across our collections, you’ll find hand-woven rattan, hand-painted European crockery, glassware and linens shaped by specialist textile expertise. What is a good homeware gift for someone who’s hard to buy for?
For someone who has everything, or who has a distinctive interior style, choose a gift that can coordinate with their existing decor rather than competing with it. Smaller home decor gifts such as photo frames, vases, trays, glassware and rattan accessories can all settle naturally into an existing room while still feeling personal to the recipient. You can find more inspiration in our curated hard-to-buy-for gifts collection.
What makes a good housewarming gift?
For a new home, gifts with some flexibility may be particularly appreciated while the space is still taking shape. A set of coloured glassware, salt and pepper mills or luxurious cotton bath towels can be enjoyed straight away without needing to match a finished interior decor scheme.
What homeware gifts work well for weddings?
Gifts for the table or entertaining are natural choices for weddings because they can become part of shared rituals over time. You might consider glassware, platters, crockery or table linens, particularly pieces the couple can bring into both everyday meals and larger gatherings. See our wedding gifts range for some of our favourites.
How much should I spend on a gift for the home?
There's no set amount; a considered gift that will be used often matters more than its price. As a guide, a small housewarming or host gift often sits around £20 to £60, while you might spend more for a wedding or milestone birthday gift. You’ll find plenty of gifts under £100 in our collection.
Do you offer gift wrapping?
Yes. Gift wrapping starts from just £3.00 and can be added to almost any item when you check out. Choose ‘wrap for me’ if you’d like your gift to arrive already packaged, or select ‘wrap at home’ and we’ll provide the materials for you to wrap it yourself.
Can homeware gifts be returned for a refund or exchange?
Gifts bought directly from our website can be returned for a refund within 30 days of receipt if they're unused and in their original packaging. We don't offer direct exchanges unless the item is faulty, so if the recipient would prefer something else, simply return the original and place a new order. During the festive season, we offer extended gift exchanges for store credit.
