A Quick Guide to Buying Luxury Linen Tablecloths Online from Rebecca Udall

Most of our tablecloths can be made to a bespoke size, if desired. Please contact us to discuss this. 

We recommend a drop 30-45cm either side of your table. Besides our ruffle Irish linen range, tablecloths will shrink approximately 5% in the first wash only, as is the case with many linen items. Our tablecloths are made to last with only the finest European grown flax and woven linen.

For any spills or stains, it is best to pre treat the stain with a stain remover (please test before using on a large area) and/or soak your tablecloth as soon as possible to prevent the stain soaking in to the fabric. Linen tablecloths are incredibly hard wearing and are much easier to lift stains than cotton alternatives. When drying your tablecloth, we recommend air drying - ideally flat, if possible, to reduce ironing time. 

Above all, use your tablecloth often rather than saving it for best. Linen is a great fabric which softens with use and is incredibly hardwearing.
