Linen is exceptionally good at releasing stains, compared with other natural textiles. It is advisable to pre-treat the stain by soaking in cold water or to pre-treat the stain with a stain treatment (please test in an inconspicuous area on coloured linens). When drying your tablecloth, we recommend air drying - ideally flat, if possible, to reduce ironing time. Tumble drying will affect the finish and increase shrinkage. Above all, use your tablecloth often rather than saving it for best. Linen is a great fabric which softens with use and is incredibly hardwearing.
